Serpent Mound Impact Crater

Driving around inside the crater you would never recognize it for what it is: an ancient meteorite impact structure.

Gravel roads criss-cross the crater interior, but there is very little left to record the awesome events that occurred 300,000,000 years ago at this location.

After a couple hours of searching we only located one spot where the bed rock was exposed.
