Since they closed down street-legal drag racing at Pomona and there's not another decent 1/4-mile drag strip around I decided to try my hand at the Irwindale 1/8th-mile strip. Here's my best run about 2 years ago (on my 18" street tires):

As you can see, the rolling friction from the slicks greatly reduced my trap speed, while the gain in the 60' time decreased my ET. Too bad I suck at drag racing.
