4Crawler Offroad 3/4" Body Lift

The body lift is on! I went with a 3/4" BL from 4Crawler Offroad. This will give me the gap I want when I put the Schrockworks bumper back on, and provides a little more tire clearance while I wait for my front suspension to be rebuilt. I never plan to run tires larger than 32-33", so I didn't need the full 1.5" BL and all the extra steps that come with installing that. After much deliberation I settled on 3/4" as a good middle ground for current and future needs.

I used the high strength hardware (drilled out the openings to accomodate) and the ultimate blocks colored black. The length of the hardware was perfect. I can't tell you how many times I dropped my old truck off a rock expecting to catch the slider, only to have it smash down onto the passenger side body mount bolt directly behind the front tire. That bolt in my old truck was bent to hell, but these 1/2" grade 8 bolts should handle that same beating just fine. I used red Loctite on all the nuts before I torqued them down @ 42 lb.-ft.
